MJ's Fusiliers

We are fundraising for Cahercalla Community Care and Ennis RFC by taking part in the Clare's Fittest Superstars event in Ennis Rugby club on the 19th of September. All proceeds raised are to be split evenly between the 2 organisations.

Meet the Team

We are four people who, between us, have somehow convinced ourselves that taking part in a fundraising challenge is a good idea.

There’s Aoibheann, our youthful, energetic member of the team, who brings enthusiasm, sporting ability and the slightly worrying expectation that the rest of us might actually keep up.

Then there’s Cian, who looks like he knows exactly what he’s doing. He doesn’t. But he has perfected the confident expression, which is almost as good.

MJ brings youth, optimism and considerably more common sense than the rest of us. He is therefore likely to spend most of the challenge wondering why he agreed to join us.

And finally there’s Richie, the team’s senior statesman. His main contribution will be experience, encouragement and an increasingly creative collection of excuses as the physical exertion begins to take its toll.

Together, we are a wonderfully mismatched bunch with varying levels of fitness, coordination and common sense — but one thing we do share is a willingness to get stuck in and raise as much money as we can for a great cause.
